Jack Sheehan has been a resident of Las Vegas for over thirty years, has published sixteen books, sold three screenplays to Hollywood, and won several regional and national awards for his books, screenplays, magazine articles, and newspaper columns. Jack has spoken to numerous groups about Las Vegas history of the last 50 years and is considered an expert on the social and business history of Las Vegas. He has authored four books on Las Vegas, including The Players, which profiled the most important gambling entrepreneurs in local history, and Skin City, which examined Las Vegas’ return to its adult-oriented roots in the 21st century.

He is a highly sought-after speaker who has addressed national golf conventions and other sports conventions, and has authored two NY Times bestsellers on the world of professional golf. He has received the Lowell Thomas Award for outstanding travel writing and a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to golf in the Southwest.
